ABout Mrs. Zinn
My name is Donna Zinn. My husband, Steve, and I are parishioners here at St. Isidore Parish. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Illinois Benedictine College in Lisle. I taught fourth grade for 8 years before taking time off to raise our two children. When our youngest was 7 years old I began work as a substitute teacher in both public and Catholic grade schools for 10 years. I have been back, full time, at St. Isidore School in fourth grade for the past 12 years.
During my "Free" time, I love to spend time with our two grandchildren, have coffee/lunch with friends, take walks in the park and read, read, read!
I feel very blessed to be working with a wonderful group of colleagues, supportive parents, and amazing students. I especially enjoy fourth graders. The students are so excited about learning at this age. They never stop questioning the world around them. I look forward to every day; as no two are ever the same. I truly love coming to school each morning! I cannot imagine myself working in any other profession.
